Ethel Clay Price Scholarship

The Ethel Clay Price Scholarship was established in 1964 in memory of Ethel Clay Price, the first graduate of Watts School of Nursing in 1897.  The Watts School of Nursing Alumni Association Officers and Board Members administer the scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to those who may be currently pursuing their nursing education at the school of nursing, or graduates from the school of nursing who are continuing higher education in the field of nursing.
 
Applications are accepted and awarded twice a year. All applicants must have completed one semester of their nursing program and have a current GPA of 3.0.  A student or graduate may only receive one scholarship per year.
 
For students currently enrolled at Watts School of Nursing, applications must be submitted by June 15th for the Fall semester, and December 1st for the Spring semester. Watts Alumni may submit applications throughout the year.
 
All funds supporting the scholarship are received through contributions.
 
Along with the application, all applicants are required to submit a statement of standing and overall GPA from the school.
 
All information submitted to the committee will be held in strictest confidence.
