Membership in the school community also carries with it an obligation and requires a commitment to act with honor. It is the responsibility of all members of the school community to follow the Honor Code and to report apparent violations.
Honor Code
The Honor Code upholds the high standards of Watts School of Nursing through a commitment to academic honesty and personal and professional integrity. As an integral part of the school, the Honor Code promotes an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect among students, faculty, and staff who share the responsibility of protecting these standards for the benefit of the entire school community.
By signing, I pledge to refrain from any form of academic dishonesty or misconduct and to adopt the standards of the school:
- I will not cheat, plagiarize, fabricate, falsify, or lie in my academic pursuit, nor will I accept those behaviors in fellow students.
- I will be respectful of the school’s property and the property of others.
- I will conduct myself honorably in all activities as a Watts student.
